Everything is starting from a great news in the recording world: the Remastered Studio Albums, that will be available on the market from next September 9th.
A team of sound technicians has been working together during the last four years, at the London Abbey Road Studios, to re-master the complete catalogue of the Liverpool’s four, keeping the authenticity and integrity of the original recordings.
The result? New packaging, new booklets, enriched by unpublished historical and detailed notes, comments on recording and photos.
In addition, wonderful short documentaries (during aprox 2 minutes) have been included in each CD, featuring unpublished films, photos and unheard conversations among the Beatles, recorded at the studios.
Two box edition are available: the first one, containing the complete collection of Beatles’ CDs, includes also a DVD with all the short documentaries, and the second one, a special collector edition, that includes all original recordings done by the Beatles that were used to mix the mono editions.
Last but not least: The Beatles: Rock Band will be launched simultaneously all around the world for Xbox 360, Playstation3 and Wii.
The videogame will allow you to feel the emotions of playing all the Beatles’ songs using Rock Band, leading the players in a real tour through the evolution and heritage of this legendary band.
For those that really wish a full immersion into the Beatles’ world, there are also DVDs that witness the rise of the four, as the funny Across The Universe, a musical inspired to their music; as well as some important BOOK:
Sir George Martin, the legendary producer, tells the story of the creation of the masterpiece Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, or the Hunter Davies’s Beatles biography, one of the few official biographies.
