A.16 deastore.com users
Deastore.com allows to set 2 kind of users, each one with a specific access area.
- Consumer user: that can access to a “Personal Account”, and can buy using Credit Card or cash-on-delivery (only for Italy)
- Business user or corporate: that can access a “Business Account” and can send order and receive goods with invoice, with no need to use a Credit Card.
Business account, in addition, allows to set 2 more types of users:
- Administrator, (1° level user) with the following features:
- Title selection
- Quotation request
- Check of holdings before sending an order (OPAC check)
- Ordering
- Budget management (assignment of different budgets to different users or group of users)
- Creation of 2° level users (see below)
- Approval or denials of suggestions sent by 2° level users
- Online check for order status
- Change of invoicing data
- Creation and change of shipping addresses
- Business user: (2° level user) with the following features:
- Selection of titles to be suggested as purchase to the “Administrator” by the “Order proposal”
- Information about approvals or denials of the order proposals sent to Administrator
- Online check for approved proposals
Both “
consumer user” and “
business user” can add “advanced features” to their profile, as for instance:
- To receive bibliographic records in different formats, to speed up the cataloguing procedure (only for the products bought through deastore.com)
- Automatic check for holdings, before sending a new order, to avoid duplicates
- The possibility to require and manage quotations
- To receive an administrative record
- To manage the punch out with other managing systems of corporate, societies, institutions, universities and libraries
- To manage the e-mail internal communication for all users of the same account
- To manage and check budget during purchases
- … and much more.
