A.4 How to perform a search Two search options are available:

• Fast search
  • Type in the box that appears at the top of each page:
    • Keyword or
    • Author surname + word(s) of the title, or
    • ISBN
  • Select the department in which you want to search
  • Click on “GO”

• Advanced search
  • Click on “advanced search” at the top of the screen near the search box
  • Select the department in which you want to make your search
  • Fill in one or more fields
  • Click on “search”

NOTE
For all searches it is possible:

• To use the asterisk ( * ) to make a search with only a part of a term (eg. bio*, *electric)
• To use the wildcard (?) to replace one or more letters in a term in case the spelling is unknown or when a term can be written in different ways (es. cent?? For “center” or "centre")
• To apply the filters (limits) that appear automatically on the left hand side in the screen of the search results
